MCMS Tuesday Staff Update - March 5, 2024

Good Evening MCMS,

I hope you had a great day and enjoyed some amazing weather this afternoon!  Thank you for administering the School Climate Survey this morning, we were able to get 91% of our students to complete the survey and we will get the rest tomorrow.  Our band had a great performance tonight, good luck to them as they compete at CPA in a few weeks.  Congratulations to our Academic Team who qualified to go to the State Championships on March 22nd!  Let's Go Rebels!!

We will send details in the morning about our Tornado drill.  The drill will occur at 9:00 AM.  Thank you for always taking these drills seriously and talking to your students about the possible scenarios.

  • Computer Device Collection Date - April 22nd - We will collect student devices on April 22nd to get ready for State Testing.  All students will become day users at that point.  This gives us time to put work orders in and have those devices ready for testing.  Stacey and Jared will have more information for this as we get closer.
  • Ellevation Training Modules - Please complete your Ellevation modules for Semester 1 and Semester 2.
  • Facility Needs:  If you have any facility needs, email Eric, Katie, and me.  If you need desks, please let us know as soon as possible.

    Good Afternoon MCMS, We hope you had a great day!  The results are back from i-Ready testing and our students showed amazing growth!  Thank you for developing instructional plans that engage and challenge our students to grow.  I would also like to thank you for your work during enrichment time, your individual conferencing and emphasis on math this semester really showed in the results.     MCMS Staff Update - May 13 -17, 2024

    Good Afternoon MCMS, Happy Mother's Day!  I hope all of our MCMS Mom's have had a great day and enjoyed some much deserved pampering today!  We have made it to the single digits, only NINE more days of school left!  We are excited to kick off our Awards Ceremonies this week, please reach out to Wendy if you have any questions or needs.   We had a fun 8th Grade Dance on Friday night, thank you to all of the staff who worked hard in putting on this great event!  The students enjoyed getting dressed up and having one final dance together before high school. I may have missed something in this update, please reach out if you have any questions about the end of the year events, summer school, summer activities, or anything else.  There is a lot going on and we want you to have the information you need!
