MCMS Staff Update- September 4 - 8, 2023
Good Afternoon MCMS,
Happy September 1st and I hope you are having a great Friday! One month ago we started our back-to-school journey and it has been a great ride! I can't thank you enough for all of your hard work and the impact you have had on our students. Each day you are growing them academically, teaching them life lessons (some more than others!), and developing amazing relationships. I am so grateful for each one of you and wish you a very relaxing weekend!
We have several events next week, include a change for our Tuesday meeting schedule. Make sure you are looking over the 2023-2024 MCMS Calendar for current activities and events on campus. If we have any changes to the calendar, we will make sure to let everyone know.
Below are updates and reminders for this coming week, September 4 - 8. Please let me know if you have any questions about this email, upcoming events, classroom supplies, or anything else. We are here to support you!

Teacher Absences
- Thank you for your planning and communication with subs, we have started the year off great in this area.
- If you have a planned or unplanned absence, email Ms. Whitley and me. Ms. Whitley is the main contact for getting class coverage.
- If you have a planned or unplanned absence, please have work posted in Schoology for students to complete. Take time with your classes to go over your expectations of them if you are out. Having posted work for your students is very helpful for the substitute and if your classes have to be split.
