MCMS Tuesday Staff Update- October 10, 2023
Good Afternoon MCMS,
Happy Tuesday! By this time tomorrow, we will be done with the first quarter of school! As we prepare to move into the next quarter, I encourage you to reflect on the academic progress of your class. You all have many areas of success with your students and your instruction, You may also have a few possible growth areas. Here are a few questions to ask yourself as you reflect:
- What are the trends with your class data? Strengths and Weaknesses
- What areas do you need to review or provide supplemental resources to increase student understanding or mastery?
- How can you utilize the support of the content leads or administration to help in your classes?
We would like to congratulate Hannah Nichols and Lauren Flynn on being our Teacher of the Month and Support Staff of the Month for September! We appreciate your hard work and service to our school.
Mid-Carolina 2022-2023 SC School Report Card Release - The 2022-2023 SC School Report Cards were released today and MCMS earned an overall GOOD rating! Congratulations on the work you put in to grow our students and seeing them succeed! We are able to celebrate several areas that were above the state and district average. Our biggest growth came with the percent students who were Meets or Exceeds in SC READY ELA! Thank you to our ELA teachers and everyone else who continue to put literacy as a focus for our students. Your dedication to the growth of our students is unmatched, I look forward to our continued progress in preparing our students for a successful future.
