MCMS Staff Update - November 6 - 10, 2023
Good Afternoon MCMS,
I hope everyone is having a great Friday and we are excited to come to the end of another great week at MCMS! Great job on our Lockdown drill, we appreciate you prepping your students with the information they need for an emergency situation. I hope you all have a relaxing weekend and enjoy an extra hour of sleep on Saturday night!
Make sure you are looking over the 2023-2024 MCMS Calendar for current activities and events on campus. If we have any changes to the calendar, we will make sure to let everyone know.
Below are updates and reminders for this coming week, November 6 - 10. Please let me know if you have any questions about this email, upcoming events, classroom supplies, or anything else. We are here to support you!

Weekly Updates and Reminders
- Celebration - We are two and a half weeks from Thanksgiving! We've got this, thank you for bringing your best to our students everyday! You are the best staff in the state!
- Instruction - Thank you for maintaining updated lesson plans, make sure you have you are scheduling a variety of formative and summative assessments. As you are planning your instruction, use engagement as the driver of your lesson plans.
- Feedback Needed - Please send me any feedback or suggestions related to our Lockdown Drill. We know we can always get better and your feedback will help make those improvements.
- Facilities - We are working with the district to make sure our HVAC systems are heating/cooling effectively. Keep us updated if you have any issues with your room or any other facility needs.

- After completing your module, implement one of the strategies and then reflect on that strategy.
- The module completion and reflection should be on different days.
