MCMS Tuesday Staff Update - March 26, 2024

Good Afternoon MCMS,

We hope you had a great day!  Only 48 hours until Spring Break, we can do it!  The weather has changed once again and it looks like tomorrow will now be a complete washout.  We are cancelling Club Day and follow our regular schedule tomorrow.  I apologize for the late change, we were hoping the weather was going to hold off. We will have enrichment time tomorrow, please have students complete i-Ready lessons if you don't have a designated math lesson for tomorrow.

Staff Action Items

To help provide clarity about specific tasks you need to complete, I am going to add a Staff Action Item section.  These are to be complete this week or reminders that related to district initiatives. 

  • SLO Final Conference Sign Up - Please sign up for a SLO Final Conference time, all conferences with me need to be complete before we leave for Spring Break.  
  • Ellevation Training Modules - Please complete your Ellevation modules for Semester 1 and Semester 2.

Additional Reminders

  • Final i-Ready Push! - Continue the push with i-Ready MyPath and keep monitoring students progress.  Our goal is to continue our progress with lessons passed and overall student growth.
  • Computer Device Collection Date - April 22nd - We will collect student devices on April 22nd to get ready for State Testing.  All students will become day users at that point.
  • Facility Needs:  If you have any facility needs, email Eric, Katie, and me.  If you need desks, please let us know as soon as possible.

    MCMS Staff Update - May 13 -17, 2024

    Good Afternoon MCMS, Happy Mother's Day!  I hope all of our MCMS Mom's have had a great day and enjoyed some much deserved pampering today!  We have made it to the single digits, only NINE more days of school left!  We are excited to kick off our Awards Ceremonies this week, please reach out to Wendy if you have any questions or needs.   We had a fun 8th Grade Dance on Friday night, thank you to all of the staff who worked hard in putting on this great event!  The students enjoyed getting dressed up and having one final dance together before high school. I may have missed something in this update, please reach out if you have any questions about the end of the year events, summer school, summer activities, or anything else.  There is a lot going on and we want you to have the information you need!     Good Evening MCMS, I hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving break!  We have an exciting few weeks in December and look forward to several fun dress days to get us in the holiday spirit!  We are also excited to see the great progress our students have made this year during iReady testing next week.  If you need anything over the next few weeks, please let us know.
