MCMS Staff Update - April 29 - May 3, 2024
Good Afternoon MCMS,
Happy Friday and I hope you enjoy getting much needed rest this weekend! It was definitely a full moon this week, there was a lot of energy in the building and you can tell all of our students are ready for Summer Break. We are down to 19 days left and we can make it!
Make sure you are looking over the 2023-2024 MCMS Calendar for current activities and events on campus. If we have any changes to the calendar, we will make sure to let everyone know.
Below are updates and reminders for this coming week, April 29th - May 3rd. Please let me know if you have any questions about this email, upcoming events, classroom supplies, or anything else. We are here to support you!
Happy Birthday! We wish a very happy birthday to those who celebrate this week!

Additional Reminders/Updates
- End of the Year Meetings with Dobyns - I will be sending information out in the next couple of weeks to set up End of the Year meetings with me. This is a time for you to give me feedback from the year, suggestions for next year, or overall improvements you would like to see at MCMS. My door is always open and I welcome your feedback. If I am not not made aware of a concern or problem, then we cannot find a way to make an improvement. MCMS is a special place and my goal is to keep the traditional of excellence that has been established!
- Personnel Update - After reviewing personnel decisions and looking at what is going to be best for MCMS, I have decided to keep Mrs. Kelly with our Gateway program and not move her to science. She has done a tremendous job with that program and I know our students will benefit from her experience with the curriculum. This leaves our 8th grade science position open and we hope to fill this position soon.
- Facility Needs: If you have any facility needs, email Eric, Katie, and me. If you need desks, please let us know as soon as possible.
